First official promo video for MayGregor: I’m God gifted

In April of 2016, Floyd Mayweather’s team floated the idea of a boxing match with Conor McGregor. 16 months later on August 26, it will happen. While well over a year is a long time to make a fight, it’s lightning compared to Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.

McGregor is the biggest pay per view television draw in mixed martial arts history. Mayweather is the biggest pay per view television draw in history. McGregor will likely make over $70 million, and Mayweather well over $100 million. The official promotion has now begun and this is the first promo.

McGregor says he sees things and they happen, while Mayweather describes Mayweather’s talent as “God given”.

The media tour will be international, and begins Tuesday, July 11, as Mayweather and McGregor come face to face for the first time as they square off at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The press conference will kick off at 5:30 p.m. ET with tickets available to the public for free, but they are given away on a first come, first serve basis.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor, billed as The Money Fight and The 180 Million Dollar Dance, will take place on August 26, 2017, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The rest of the card will be held under boxing rules, and will not feature any more MMA figure vs. boxers match ups.
