Controversial gay, anti-gay, Catholic-Jewish, right-wing journalist Milo Yiannopoulos had a speaking engagement at UC Berkeley on Wednesday, February 1. Unfortunately, a protest against the talk turned violent, and the talk was canceled. Yiannopoulos revels in something akin to trolling, and some anarchist elements of the left despicably maintain that violence is an appropriate response.
Protestors, with their faces masked and armed with bats were looting, vandalizing, and attacking bystanders. Luckily for one man attacked, former UFC fighter and current WSoF star Jake Shields was on hand.
A live account was posted on his Twitter.
“Your attacking people for no fucking reason,” said Shields. Dude, you guys have your faces covered, you’re attacking people. You’re being f***ing fascists. Look at you guys, you’re f***ing embarrassing.
“About 20 people jump a guy, I’m going to do what I have to, it’s not okay.”
A masked moron then explained his presence.
“There was a f***ing Nazi thing at the f***ing university,” said The Masked Stupid. “That’s why everybody’s here.”
Shields returned some sanity to the discussion.
“What Nazi thing?” asked Shields. “Who’s a Nazi? The Jewish guy that was speaking?”

Another bystander captured some of the disorder.
If you are a Trump supporter, the anarchists’ behavior is obviously despicable. If you are a Trump critic, the behavior is twice as despicable, because it responds to words and ideas with violence, and because it tars the anti-Trump movement as lunatics.
