McGregor: If Mayweather’s Handbags Voltron me again, they get slapped

At Stop 3 on the MayMac International S** * Show in New York, Floyd Mayweather unexpected shouted, “Yo form Voltron.” Money’s bodyguards instantly swarmed Conor McGregor. McGregor’s team, most notably Owen Roddy rose to his defense; it appeared as if Mayeather’s ill-clad and either overweight or PED abusing security team were going to get slept.

There is the expectation that at some point on the tour push will come to shove, but this was not to be it.

“Juicehead fools,” said McGregor later, as transcribed by MMA Fighting. “I don’t know, man. I didn’t even see them until they were on top of me. I was like, ‘what?’ and then everybody was pushing and shoving. But, handbags, we call that back where I come from. It means it’s nothing, it’s just handbags. It’s just a term we use.”

“We’re having a good time, but I’ll tell you what, if those fooking juiceheads [do it again], I’ll slap the hell out of all of them. If something like that happens at the next one, something will have to happen.”

The fooking juiceheads later discussed the altercation with Ariel Helwani.

The international trash fest ends tomorrow at London’s SSE Arena Wembley, with a 2:00 p.m. ET start time.

The Money Fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on August 26, 2017. The PPV will cost $99.95. McGregor is expected to make around $100 million, and Mayweather some multiple of that
