Nick Roehrick flagged for potential anti-doping violation
The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Nick Roehrick of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation.

Light heavyweight Nick Roehrick entered the UFC on a seven-fight win streak, but lost his league debut vs. Jared Cannonier via Elbow T/KO in Round 3 at the TUF 25 Finale on July 7.
Now the UFC reports that the North Carolina-based fighter had an anti doping test flagged, that was administered about a month later.
The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Nick Roehrick of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on August 8, 2017.
USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case involving Roenick. Under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full and fair legal process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. Additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.
Curiously, the UFC misspelled the fighter’s name in the release. Given the sensitive nature of anti-doping violations and the need for absolute precision, it is not a good look.
