Investors bought the World Series of Fighting, and have rebranded it as the Professional Fighters League. The move is far beyond cosmetic; the PFL have established a season, and contracted 72 fighters in six weight divisions. They will fight all season, with the winner in each division receiving $1,000,000.

The new promotion will debut on June 7, at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater in New York City. The card is now set. Main card will air on NBCSN, with the prelims streaming live on Facebook Watch.

The main event features 17-0 NY native Andre Harrison vs. Kazakh-Chinese former UFC fighter Jumabieke Tuerxun, at featherweight. The co-main also features 145-pound fighters – NCAA Div I star Lance Palmer vs. 18-1 Russian invader Bekbulat Magomedov.
