Shaq wants to fight Canseco: UFC or street

Disgraced former MLB player and one-time MMA fighter Jose Canseco has for years been relentlessly badgering retired NBA star and massive UFC fan Shaquille O’Neal.

O’Neal, who has trained in BJJ and a number of martial arts for years, recently told Ariel Helwani he is ready to put his skills to use on Canseco.
“I’m pretty good,” said O’Neal as transcribed by MMAFighting. “I could probably beat the hell out of Jose Canseco.”
“I’ll probably knock him out in 42 seconds. I need to just play with him a little bit. Give the fans their money’s worth and then knock him out.”
“UFC, street fight, laser tag. It doesn’t matter.”

O’Neal has previously expressed interest in fighting Hong-man Choi. Both men are 7′ 1″.
“He never responded,” said O’Neal of the proposed fight. “So after I beat the crap out of Jose Canseco then I’ll come after Hong-man Choi.”
Canseco lost to Choi in 77 seconds at DREAM 9 in 2009.
