I have been toying with this idea for quite some time and I think I am at the point where I am going to do it. I own over 500 books and storing them is becoming a nightmare! I fly out of the country tomorrow but when I return I intend to make one of the bedrooms in my home a library (I have a 6 bedroom home so donating a room to the cause is no problem). I will post pictures of it when it is done. I want it done in dark wood with shelves going high so I can keep adding to my collection in the years to come.

At the time of my step-father's death, we had over 8500 books in our library.

After a few years of donations, we have about 1500 left. I had 10 large bookcases built in to the walls of my living room and one large wall of my dining room.

I read a hundred or so of them. My step dad ready the bulk of them.
