Joe Rogan -
MMAKingdom -
Devereaux - Kinda strange for a high level mma fighter to be so sensitive.

Why is that? Actually, it makes plenty of sense to not like jerkoffs talking shit.

I'm sorry, I'm confused here - are you saying my objectively analyzing his game makes me a "jerkoff talking shit?"

ya im pretty sure that's what he is saying... are you surprised joe? this place is filled with idiots

Joe, you got a shot at this. Rampage doesnt know how to handle leg kicks and you are pretty nimble for your old age. Stick and move my friend!

Joe does his job. I really don't think he shows a bias of Jiu-Jitsu especially given is roots in stand up. I've heard him praise strand up fighters countless times over the years.

It's obvious what the issue is here... Joe hurt Rampage' feelings with his "One Dimensional" comments.

AGC IV - Just curious do you guys think rogan is really that biased against rampage or does page just not like being critiqued? I think its alittle of both..

I dont want to seem like im riding rogan's nuts here because i have definitely critiqued him in the past for several things but i dont think he has shown bias against rampage in the least bit he simply made an observation as a commentator that he thought rampages game was one dimensional without kicks or td attempts and i think many of us agree 100%. Do you want him to not commentate? I dont get it. Seems like an awfully thankless job

I agree. I think he actually goes so out of his way sometimes to not be biased for jiu jitsu that he is in fact biased against it in favor of wrestling, but here i go being too picky lol

I'm more than aware of that, which is why I enjoy getting them to talk so that they can be weeded out and we can leave this forum for people that can discuss things intelligently.

For the record, I like Rampage a lot.  I've always enjoyed hanging out and talking with him.  I'm sure if I talked with him about all this stuff he would feel a lot better about it.  I'm certainly not hating on him, I'm a fan.  When I talk about his game it's because I have to analyze things objectively, and I think he's one of the toughest, most dangerous guys in the game.  If I describe something that I wish he would do it's because I think his athletic and fighting potential is immense.

So is a good segment of the MMA fan base. That's why the job of commentary is always going to turn some of us into complaining babies. Sometimes people don't like to hear the truth, doesn't make it not the truth though.

Someone please post the pic of Joe Rogan/Arianny Celeste cyborg from the Arianny paparazzi thread here for all to behold (I'm on my IPhone now, or I'd do it).

Rampage will undoubtedly be a little more careful with his words after gazing upon this picture. Phone Post

People forget Joe says he thinks wrestling is the most important aspect of mma, a sentiment im not 100% sure i agree with, but how can you say someone who has said such a thing is bias in favor of jj? doesnt make sense to me

Honestly, if I have a "bias" it's for aggressive strikers.  Wanderlei is probably my all time favorite fighter.  Anderson is right up there as well.  I know both guys have great jiu jitsu, but there's something incredibly exciting about watching a ferocious striker.

When I say that wrestling is the most important aspect of MMA it's just my objective assesment.  Of course I love beautiful and technical submission as well, but for the sheer "OH SHIT" factor, nothing comes close to KOs.
