Can anyone help with this?

Ive been looking at maximuscle, optimum platinum, musclepharm and others but in lost as to which is the better for pre and post training.

I don't want anything that makes you feel sluggish before training and ideally it should be something that serves both situations (purely for cost). My diet is spot on at the moment (its based on the lee labrada nutrition guide) and in training 4 times a week for about 2-3 hours a time.

I've tried traditional whey protein from the local health place but i saw zero gains and felt like i was carrying a baby so im looking for the best possible option.

Any help would be great! Phone Post

i like isopure, they have low carb and carbless, its very high quality you can stir it with a spoon in water and it mixes perfectly. 50g protein per serving, i love it but its not great for weight gain if thats what youre trying to do. I eat pretty lean so isopure is perfect for me.

Hey

I use hemp protein. It's the only natural protein that contains ALL essential amino acids needed for muscle growth. Added to that, I find there's no bloating or other stomach problems that I had with whey etc. It's very cheap compartively, too.

When I was using whey, I began to worry about all the syntehtic chemicals they use to colour / flavor the stuff. My girlfrriend is a naturopath nutriotionist, so when I hear about what that stuff can do to you, it put me off!

Sure, with hemp protein, the flavor on it's own isn't great. But the good thing is, you can flavour it yourself, and make it different each time, so you don't get fed up of the same old taste.

I make a smoothie with hemp protein, blueberry soy yoghurt (also quite high in protein), almonds, pumpkin seeds and filtered water. I think it's delicious! As it's all natural protein, your body absorbs it far more readily. There's no point in pumping your stomach full of processed proteins, as we're simply not designed to digest them all.

I see good results in the gym, too. I'm very lean, so can see easily when my muscles are growing, and I've had very good results with hemp.

Hope that helps. Any questions, let me know :)

Yeah my flatmate uses that has had ok results (he doesn't train enough) tastes good too! I use bodytronics juggernaut as I have a really high metabolism and burn carbs fast. Great for recovery but only practical of you want to see gains if that's the case I rate it over maximuscle, my protein, USN and the stuff you get from your local store. Doesn't bloat and slightly boosts my energy. Phone Post
