We've seen Hendricks repeatedly find the finish via that straight left, much like the Hendo bomb.
At lhw, or hw for that matter, the only one to be able to take flush h-bombs and remain conscious is Shogun Rua.

At WW, the only person I think could take Hendrick's left would be Nick Diaz. Dude has an iron chin.
Anyone else that would be still be standing if that straight left lands?

Nobody at ww imo. He just one punched Fitch and Kampmann, who are as tough as anyone in that division. Diaz gets dropped in tons of his fights and barely keeps himself from being finished, much like Kampmann. I don't think he can take a clean left hand from Hendricks either.

BJ has never been dropped ever at any weight including a HW fight against Lyoto.

Nick's been dropped a million times including by lightweights.

I'm not sure ANY welterweight can take a flush left from Hendricks, Diaz included.

Nick's got a great chin, but he was flash KOd by Daley and even KJ Noons sat him down more than once and neither of those guys hit as hard as Hendricks.

BJ is a great answer. Damn Hendricks vs BJ would be a sick fight.

BoilerBrawnByBeatdown - Josh Koscheck?

Hendricks has said he didn't fully commit/look for the straight left due to worrying about Kos's right hand.

Actually now that I think about it Penn is/may be the only. Has he ever even been rocked/wobbled on his feet?

Although after seeing Cote get rocked on Saturday, I guess I can't say it's impossible Hendricks could hurt Penn.

I don't remember him getting hit flush in their fight either.

Nick might get hit with it but the difference is he'll see it coming. it may look like he's too slow twitch to move his head and/or feet fast enough, but trust me he moves just enough. enough to never get caught flush on the chin by Hendricks.

Big Rig would resort to wrasslin (plan B) by the end of the 1st round.

damn, i'd actually like to see that fight.

BoilerBrawnByBeatdown - so basically, the question is who can take a clean shot from Hendricks without any sort of defense? basically a free shot?

The question is who can take a clean left hand from Hendricks, not who can avoid one.

Penn and Diaz in my opinion. Nick would probably get dropped but he wouldn't get finished. Dude has insane recovery. Phone Post

Speaking of BJ Penn, what about Diego Sanchez? I doubt he could really beat "Hendro" but positive he can take a periodical Big Rig Bomb...The Beast Has Spoken................! Phone Post

BoilerBrawnByBeatdown - Hendricks would never land a clean one on a guy like Nick Diaz or BJ Penn.

Why not Diaz? He gets hit by pretty much everyone he fights.

I think he was definitely hurt/rocked/wobbly against Diaz in the second round, but he took a pretty hellacious beating in that round. Still, he was the only guy not to collapse under that kind of assault from Nick.
