barnett gets beween 150k to 200k a fight.  I think he's worth it for zuffa to bolster it's HW division.

JDS needs an opponent.  and there are lots of fun fights with guys like mir, big nog, roy nelson, etc..

GSP24 -  His history with dfw and failed tests is a HUGE concern. Phone Post

This is a big factor that can't be overlooked. I would love to see Josh in the UFC again but understand why they might be hesitant.

Dana White: PUT YOUR EGO ASIDE ON THIS ONE. Josh Barnett is not the fighter he once was - but he's STILL good enough to beat just about any heavyweight on any given night. He's too big, too tough, too mean, and too skilled to count him out of anything.

And he knows how to make just about every fight he has an exciting fight that almost always goes to a decisive finish - and not to some split decision.

And his catch wrestling skills usually means that when it goes to the ground - this is going to be one helluva fight. No pulling guard or lay and pray boredom in a Barnett fight.

Not from him or from his opponent - because he'll make them pay if they try any of that.

And he's tough enough to stand and bang with the best of them.

YOU NEED HIM IN THE UFC HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION, DANA.

Make it happen.
