Why be hesitant why just stand with vitor?
If the Bisping who fought Sonnen/Stann showed up it would have been completely different! Phone Post

To be fair to Bisping, neither possess the combination of power/speed/technique that Vitor does. Not to mention Vitor is most dangerous early on.

Maybe he was trying to weather the storm then pour it on during the later rounds. Phone Post

He was trying to 'out technically fight' him. He however was not technical enough to block a high kick even after Vitor has thrown it a few times already.

I did think that actually. I expected some wall grinding and some TD attempts. Dirty stuff with knees and clinch work. Actually saw none of it. Normally it is the fisher's movement that stops this i.e. Anderson. Here it was Bisping's choice to stand and attempt to out point. Bad decision. Phone Post

he probably was weathering Vitors speed storm at first. Going in for a takedown on vitor at first with his speed, he might have punched something crazy at bispings temple, so bisping might have just been minimizig the risks early on, but he got caught in round 1 and when he came back in 2 hes eyes were full of fear and doubt so it was just a matter of time.

Because hes a cage rage level fighter and always has been.

Same reason he's lost every time he's been faced wth a top tier opponent. Phone Post

He's never finished a fight inside the UFC, Willy.

Never achieved a KO or submission either.

The only way he's capable of winning fights is with outside help. Be it from the ref or judges, the man cannot finish on his own.

What's more, he's lost every single time he's been faced with top-tier competition.

And when he's faced with mediocre competition... his performances are lackluster.

Cage Rage is where he belongs. He could be a champ there.

In the UFC he'll never be anything more than a gatekeeper.

So my comment is not in any way unfounded or incorrect.

All you have to do is look at the man's career to know this.

His game plan was solid but Vitor's was better.

Never finished a fight? What is this nonsense you speak of?

So everyone who will never be a champion should leave the UFC?  So just ditch the whole MW division?

Willy the Coyote - Bisping just isn't on the level of a guy like Vitor. His strategy had nothing to do with it. Phone Post

Ref stoppages.

He does not have the ability to finish an opponent on his own accord.

He has NEVER achieved a knockout or submission in one of THE single longest UFC careers. He's been in the octagon 18 times and never once finished a fight by his own volition.

Nobody else can say that but Mike.
