Nick stopped some of Georges Take-downs, And when it comes to the stand-up Maia doesn't mix it up enough with kicks to stop Diaz's cardio based boxing barrage.

If True..... Diaz wins 3rd round TKO.

GSP shut down Nick's BJJ game, so Maia would own him. Nick's advantage is in the stand up and if he can prevent the takedown or survive to get it standing again (repeatedly), I think he'll win by decision.

Wow that would be crazy if true.

Diaz owns the striking and the ground part is unknown.

The only unknown part about this fight is does Diaz get dropped after losing three straight?

I think they would keep him if he lost a short notice fight. Especially if he can make it an exciting fight at least. He'll be on thin ice though, he makes too much to keep losing. Phone Post

Nonsense if he wouldn't grapple Estima, Maia owns him too

Good point on the short notice, hadn't factored that in.

The only real concern is the drug test on short notice Phone Post

Maia would either sub or control Diaz to a decision, IMO.

If Fitch couldn't stop the takedown, Diaz will not be able to either. I know Diaz has great BJJ, but Maia is on a different level. Phone Post

LOL at anyone believing this.  You know Nick needs time to get clean, plus the visa issue shit to work out, I just dont see it unless they could get him in Brazil and he hasnt been smoking pot.

Serious question, if Diaz dropped the bong today, would he pass the drug test come August 3rd?
