I have a bachelors in management and am thinking about going back to school for accounting. Any accountants here that actually enjoy their jobs?

Yes! I love it. It is long hours January through March, but the on the job training is invaluable. After a few years in public accounting, you can settle into a private firm making awesome money. If you have an accounting degree, it's practically impossible NOT to get a job.

Depends in which state you live. Nevada requires a masters, but most states require a bachelors and 150 semester units (225 quarter units). This is hard to get in 4 years alone. The any accounting program should get you enough units for the accounting part, but the rest of your units can be from any qualified college in ANYTHING. I am graduating this quarter and taking classes from community college in excel just for units. Check with your state board of accounting.

Thanks Aaron, I already have a few accounting classes under my belt from my biz degree. I believe I have to have a masters in this state also which sucks cuz it'll take me forever to get a bachelors going part time.
