Looks like Lambo is coming out with an answer to the Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale. Power is boosted marginally by 10 hp, torque stays the same, but most significant is it goes on a diet and loses around 220 lbs making it a sub 3000 lb car. The most notable difference in exterior styling is the addition of a fixed spoiler for added downforce at speed. Looks like a pretty badass ride to me, I'll take one in Lambo Orange. http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070228/FREE/70228001/1061

Haha fair enough but I wouldn't say that Ferrari's have a rep for being bullet proof either! Now that I am thinking about it the Lambo Green would probably look good on this vehicle.......I'll have to see both in person before I can decide.

"too bad while the ferrari's on the track the lambo will probably be in the shop." lol. Neither are known for being reliable. And that reputation is well deserved. Mark

I agree that they are more reliable now......still not a vehicle I would want to be dumping the clutch in very often...or ever. I think this car looks fantastic....The gallardo is already a great sports car and this just makes it better in every way.

I would also like to see how this new Gallardo fares in a heads up performance contest with its sibling the new Murcielago LP640. Being down roughly 100 hp the LP640 will definitely walk it in straight line acceleration above 80 mph, but with the Gallardo being 1000 lbs lighter a showdown on a road course could be very interesting.

No interest in this vehicle or what? This thing boasts a power to weight ratio of 5.6 lbs/hp, that's better than the Murcielago, SLR McLaren 722, C6 Z06 and Ferrari F430. Here is a great pic for those that haven't seen it: http://www.deluxeblog.it/uploads/gallardosuperleggera.jpg Bluename help please!
