I just got a 00 Tacoma for going to the beach and stuff and I changed stuff like the air cleaner, oil and plugs. The plugs were a bitch and I had to move stuff. I tried to start the motor with one of the coils disconnected by accident. I reconnected the coil after I realized something was wrong and the truck started up fine. It ran a lot smoother and there are no problems other than the CEL. I used stock plugs because I know those motors are senstive to Bosh etc. Everything is stock on the truck. I am pretty sure i reconnected everything correctly. Any thoughts? I am wondering if the CEL needs to be reset because I started the engine with 1 coil DC'ed.
