Mass and size aren't the same thing. Some of the smallest objects (neutron stars, black holes) are also the most massive.

Those red giants are huge. I wonder if they are regular stars that are on the verge of blowing up in a nova or something. Sort of an explosion happening in slow motion?

That is one massive MF! Our sun is pathetic! There is probably a bigger star somewhere else. As for alien life, definitely exists. Imagine how many aliens species are out there. It would be very exciting to search the universe. Too bad we have such pathetic ships.

"There is probably a bigger star somewhere else." Yup...I believe they are called "Red Giants"...They are like a million times (probably more) the size of our sun... These numbers absolutely surpass our comprehensive thought patterns. Humans say they can imagine something that large, but in actuality, we have no conept of how large something like that can actually be.

This stuff is absolutely amazing. Does anyone else get all crazy when thinking of astronomy? I've always been so intrigued by the stars and planets.
