If I could afford it, I'd buy a hummer. I don't see why everyone hates this vehicle so much? We all waste gas, what difference is it if some dude wastes a little more than others? I would use it for true offroading however. I would scratch the paint, go offroad, get stuck in mud flats, etc. I know the new hummers are probably not set up for that, but I'd mod it or something. I don't see what the big deal is really? it's just a larger version of a Jeep. But people seem to think jeeps are cool and shit? They are for surf yuppy scum too, Offroad Hippies and Trendy fucks. So who gives a shit? I'm buying a fucking hummer when I can afford one. Fuck you all.

Underpowered for such a behemoth. That is my issue with it. Makes it a pointless yuppie mobile.

If I had a Hummer, I'd hummer in the morning. I'd hummer in the evening. All over this land.

Poor HP to weight ratio. Like what FakePie said. I'd get the H1 and have it set-up with a machine gun turret.

I don't know what the big deal is. Everyone screws up the environment to some extent, so I am going to set fire to the entire surface of the earth.

there is a video online of a hummer trying to offroad, the thing goes over a SMALL little rock and cracks an A-arm or something. POS car IMO.

I'd have a H-1, if it was a gift, but for the price, you can build something so much better yourself

And to be fair, Jinx mentioned a Hummer. That pic is of an H2 and a bus. I assume that Jinx was talking about an H1.

LOL at the H2. I dont hate the thing, just not a big fan of it. For 60k you can get alot better SUV IMO. Rangerover, toyota landcruiser, BMW M5, lexus. I saw a mid 90's toyota 4runner make it through this river. Then an hour later an H2 tried and got bottom out or bogged down 3/4 of the way through. Id imagine cuz it was too heavy for the river bottom.

hmmmm Ive rode in both an H2 and rover. I thought the rangerover handled alot better. IMO it looks cooler. Most importantly its a more suitable off road machine. Everyone has an opinion though.

"It just seemed too lightly built and not very sturdy. I just don't see how they justify their exhorbitant price. " They justify their price by consistently being the best, I actually prefere the old coil spring Range rover classic, but I've run a P38 V8 and a current model V8 (though only as a courtesy car) and they beat the shit out of stock american tanks.
