It would be nice if we could get a list of cities & dates for upcoming BJJ tournaments.  Let's try to keep it to the East Coast right now since it is hard for many of us to travel out west.  See if we can get everyone to start makng a list.

check out the thread about East Coast grappling championships. I am making plans for next Feb28,March 1st and 2nd for the Arnold classic in Columbus, Ohio. It is an Martial Arts festival, all styles represented as well as Sumo. I have talked to Jory about meeting up with him up there.I know it's a long way off ,but it will cost a little bit to go there. If several go it will cut way down on the cost. too hotty

Kong, I went to the Gokar last year and the quanity was not huge but their were some high quality grapplers there. You better be prepared for neck cranks and heel hooks. I lost my match in the finals via neck crank. It will be beneficial to practice the defenses for these type of submissions. too hotty

Who is "naturalbornleadr"?  We really appreciate all the info you are providing.

The Alliance tournament will be a good one with lots of talent competing.

Too Hotty - The Columbus event would be great to plan for next year.  We only missed this year's because of scheduling with other events.  We will do better next year.

East Coast Grappling Championships V: Richmond, VA (Saturday, April 28th) No-gi submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (with the gi) divisions for men, women, children, and masters (over 30). $45 if you pre-register (additional divisions just $10 more!). www.usgrappling.us We'll return to The Showplace 3000 Mechanicsville Turnpike Richmond, VA 23223 THis tournament is next weekend. Andrew Smith and Mike Moses run a really good tournament. Andrew has competed about as much as anyone I know so he know what goes into running a tournament. Good talent there too. The Pendergrass event will also be really good. It is no gi only this time but will have absolute divisions for each experience level. THis will be held about 20 minutes north of Raleigh.

Oh nooo.....we even have Mr. Delgado coming on the NC Forum.  I sure as hell hope he doesn't have photoshop :0  Mr. Hamilton & I did talk about SubZero and forgot the date.  Can you put the link and/or more information?

I have dropped the ball on getting guys down to NAGA this weekend and feel bad about it.  We will try to support as many tournaments as we can.  I simply need to do a better job of getting information out to everyone.  Sorry guys!!!!!

No comment on SUBzero : ( well the loving gesture was made. Like my pappy used to always say, "You can lead a horse to water but ya cant stop him from turning around and shitting in it."
