If I get "liability only" insurance in only my name, on my car, does that cover over people driving that car? I mean in both cases, as in: Pulled over, and asked for proof on insurace, and also in the event of an accident.

It could cover the other person driving your car as long as they have your permission to drive the vehicle and were to be in an accident. As far as getting pulled over and asked for verification of insurance, I have seen it go both ways. Mostly depends on whether or not the police officer wants to accept the verification not being in the person's name who is driving the car. Every state and company has their own laws and regulations. I would just call your company and find out their regulations.

Thanks. Realised it's not that expensive to add the GF's name too.. probably just easier to do it that way if there's any question at all.
