What is the PoliticalGround's thoughts on presidential morality and if it really matters.

Do you elect presidents based on their morals and think that a president with "strong morals" is better than one with no so strong morals?

I'd prefer my president not be a serial killer. So I guess I prefer he have at least some morality.

1) Don't care. 2) Don't care. 3) Don't care. 4) Big problem. A man that will cheat on his wife will cheat on other things. 5) Charged? Don't care. Convicted? Big problem. 6) Don't care.

Morality is a smokescreen for not discussing the more pressing concerns affecting Americans. The so-called presidential debates are often mired in discussions about the most superficial of issues (such as one's family or religious values). So-called morality, however one defines that, should have little bearing on a candidate's suitability for the presidency.
