I've read your posts where you talk about how to stop the hook sweep from butterfly guard by dropping the hip on the side your opponent is trying to lift, essentially making sure your other hip is higher than the hip that is dropping. What do you think of Leo Santos hook sweeps though? Basically, everyone he competes against knows this is his move, yet no one can stop it. He seems to control the belt, switch sides, and he still lands the sweep. Has Leo figured out a way to combat the dropping of the hip? As in prevent it from happening by somehow positioning himself differently? Here's some videos for reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kWIcZ-u8Wc (1:08 into this clip) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8yVBPmKHTw (1:11 into this clip) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss2_ujHfmjM (1:08 into this clip) And finally, he goes for it non stop here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ozk_lTnPlUE Looking forward to hearing your opinion, thanks.

I love the sweep he gets at 2:30 of that last clip.  Just keeps scooting to the side, making the guy chase him, then switches directions and flips him very easily.

Leo is very good with that sweep. However, the main reason he keeps getting everyone with it is because his opponents aren't defending and passing correctly. Their body position and angles are all wrong when it comes to stopping that sweep.

The thing is, Leo keeps the guy's posture broken forward so the guy can't posture up and shove his hip forward.
