I'll be staying in San Francisco for Oracle training from August 19th through the 25th. As with any occasion where I travel, I'm wondering if there will be an academy where I could train Jiu-Jitsu while I'm there? I'll be busy 9-5 probably every day, but if there's a place which does evening classes and wouldn't mind having me there I would love to attend.

Will you be San Francisco proper? For gi jiu-jitsu, you can't do much better than Ralph Gracie's school in downtown San Francisco. (Ralph also has academies in several of the suburbs - see www.ralphgracie.com for details.) There are many good BJJ schools to choose from throughout the SF Bay Area.

Ralphs academy academy has the best BJJ in San Francisco.

For No-Gi:

10th Planet JJ San Francisco(Denny Prokopos)

Fight & Fitness

Fairtex

Jakes Shields probably offers the best No-Gi training at FSA.
