Anytime, if Moke is coming we're gonna need another roast.

Invitation accepted, keep one in the freezer for me!...though FCTV will likely make it before I will as he gets to SoCal more often these days.

Salt the rim and shake vodka and white grapefruit, never pink. Caned grapefruit is my favorite, but I never see white in the can anymore. Phone Post

here's what i found:

According to the website below:

http://www.yurai.jp/archives/2005/070817…
(this is in Japanese)

the kanji for kikkoman is ???. (the ? kanji is used as their logo?) Kikko (??) is another name of Katori Shrine. ? means tortoise and ? means tortoise shell. ? here is coming from ?? (??), which is 10,000 years.

There's a phrase ????????? (tsuru wa sennen, kame wa mannen). KOD online dictionary has "A crane lives a thousand and a tortoise (lives) ten thousand years." "May you live as long!" "Enjoying a long life is a matter for congratulation." for this phrase.

I'm not sure if this is good enough, but hopefully it helps somehow. ^^;

^^sorry i forget how to change it to display the kanji.

the symbol you are inquiring about is the "10,000" portion of the "10,0000 years" which is part of the kikkoman slogan.

you know who would probably get kicks answering this more?

PIYO on the og.

Fearless Winker -

How does one make that japanese breakfast of rice and raw egg?

Do you just crack the egg over rice?

Small bowl of steaming hot rice, crack a raw egg over it, mix it in and add a little shoyu. Eat.

Just a gentle mix. Not like you're trying to scramble the egg. Just break the yolk and give it a couple gentle turns, nothing more, or yeah I could see it getting foamy...but I haven't had it for a while. Maybe sprinkle some furikake over it?

if foamy, your rice is too wet.

best tamago meshi is japan made yoshinoya gyudon on a cold snowy day w/ the nama egg cracked on top!

reel, are you looking for the romanized characters for that symbol?

also, whether you get zoirushi or bubang, MAKE SURE you get a PRESSURE RICE COOKER.

considering what you're striving for, don't settle for regular steamed.

hear me now, believe me later.
