Freeze em, bread them in panko, deep fry them and put them on a salad with warm bacon vinaigrette and lardons.

 

I was wondering the other day...do those food trucks get health inspections like a normal restaurant?

no, being mobile means you report to the health department twice a year. i've only been inspected once at a event and they barely looked at anything, which is a surprise being that they were super cunts when i worked in a restaurant.

That's a lot different than California. The inspectors there are dicks and do anything they can to try to shut you down. So when you see an, "A" hanging in the window then you know for sure the kitchen there is seriously clean and proper.

Cooked for self last night, got adventurous. Picked up some merguez, a spicy lamb & beef sausage I hadn't tried before. Local company.

Didn't bother with my own pics but it looked something like this:

Soooo tasty. I cooked half under the broiler and on half top of the stove and got better texture results on top of the stove. Bonus : used the drippings for some wilted baby spinach in the same pan for a side.

Ate the lot, served with a bottle of Trappiste Rochefort No. 10. 

There is a God, and God is love.

well tried the famous samurai soft serve and went w/ the banana.

 

tasted like a condensed milk shave ice blend. not bad.

Made these last night..fluffernutter rice krispy treats. I didn't have one, but they sure smelled good.

 

I'm thinking for my cheat day this weekend I'm going to do some risotto with asparagus and portobellos and searm some scallops.

I've been baking too much lately..it's time to cook some real food.

No, it's marshmallow cream. But I was thinkin if I had a blow torch, I would have made those marshmallows nice and toasty..and then I started thinking about a smores cake and...then I went ride my bike lol
