I have a 1990 dodge ram 1/2 ton with the 360 and when ever I step on the gas it just bogs down like it is flooding. I have changed the plugs and air filter and still nothing. It has dual exhuast and only one side has ex haust coming out might that have something to do with it.

you have a restricted exhaust.do you have true dual exhaust? the usual cause of this is a clogged converter.

you have to find out if it is a clogged converter or not.do you still have the converter on the truck? if you do then you can unbolt the exhust in front of the converter and if it is clogged it will run better. you cannot unclogg a converter legaly you have to replace it.although i have seen people take them out and smash the "honey comb" out making it a straight pipe.
