Woof All: Via Original Productions,(Ice Road Truckers, Monster Garage, others) National Geographic is doing a documentary on the Dog Brothers. Our most recent Gathering was shot at OP's warehouse which is also the set for their show "Monster Garage". Here OP CEO Thom Beers discusses the documentary a bit a few minutes into the interview: http://podcast.wjfk.com/wjfk2/637904.mp3 The Adventure continues, Crafty Dog

No airing date yet-- they're just building the buzz at the moment. I leave tomorrow for 6 days of teaching in Switzerland (1 day of which will be the Second Euro DB Gathering of the Pack) and when I return they will have a polished edit for me to comment on. I gather that from when the piece is actually finally approved by Nat Geo it will be 1-2 months later that it will air. Not to worry, we will keep everyone posted on our website www.dogbrothers.com

To be precise that is the clip that Original Productions put together which helped land the deal with National Geographic. The Nat Geo documentary is in editing now. I had some concerns with the draft that they showed me and now await the revised version.

Apparently there may be an error in the URL I posted. The correct time is 9PM and the title is "Fight Club"-- which is NOT what I wanted, but I was not able to get them to change it to "Tao of the Dog" or "The Dog Brothers Experience" or "Higher conciousness through harder contact" (c). The Adventure continues!

WONDERFUL SHOW!!!! I think the Dog Brothers mentality was shown very well. I love the psychologist on there trying to say this is something "new" in our society. Apparently, he overlooked the fact that men have been doing this since the cavemen days. All throughout history men have been doing these types of things. It has more to do with getting back to our primitive/true selves rather than our evolved selves IMO. Very inspiring show. Let the Pack continue to roam free.

Those silly psychologists - they don't know shit :-P

Caveat - unless it was Eric Mart - I haven't seen the show, but Eric is the only other psychologist I know with any knowledge of FMA in general and the Dog Brothers in particular - the man even keeps a couple of sticks in a velcro pouch on the back of his chair to deal with unruly patients :-)
