I guess Burma and it's current problems are less important then killing people for oil. Does nobody else find it amusing that the US, the so called beacon of freedom is sitting on the fence while monks fight and die for democracy. To bad there is nothing of value there for America. As we all know that America only comes into a fight late and when there is money to be made. For the amount of monies spent in Iraq so far, the total infa-structure of Afrika could have been built. Based on one months worth of spending on Iraq, spent in a country in Afrika per month. I think this course would have done more for America to stem the Muslim faith then invading.

nvm - Just read that China and Russia are not open to anything changing in Burma. That pretty well stops any action besides sanctions for the fore seeable future.
