Just remembered that I read about you at a swedish mma site (www.fighermag.se) someone asked swedish mma pioneer August Wallen about who the 5 best people he had rolled with was. The five was Dean Lister, Saulo Ribero, Roy Harris, Bustamente, Frank Shamrock. Looks like a pretty nice list to be a member of : )

Nice crew. Roy should tell you the story of when he rolled with Frank. :)

I just come back from a day of training with Roy and even I train with him for 5 years I´am always impressed with his skills. It´s unbelivable what these guy knows about BJJ and when you roll with him you recognize that immediately.

Take  care
Björn

I was initially shocked when Roy said that Joe Moreira still owns him when grappling (given that Roy IS so good), but Roy explained that Joe's been grappling for a LOT longer and that Roy hasn't focused exclusively on bjj. I too would love to hear about the Shamrock & Machado stories! Lautaro

Shamrock stories (both Ken and Frank) are classic. I'll let Roy tell them. Particularly the Ken one, LOL!!!

Hey guys, Lemme be straight forward here: While I would love to write (on this forum) about the old days of grappling with various guys, the truth of the matter is this: 1. We all have progressed since those days. 2. Even if I did write about those stories, all that would happen is things would get blown out of proportion, egos would get hurt, hard feelings would be begin (or continue) and nothing good would come out of the story. Several years ago, I wrote about my experiences with some of the "Brazilians." While I wrote about things from my heart, and while everything I wrote (on this forum) was true, my writings got twisted and turned around. Hard feelings resulted because of my writings. So, having "matured" a bit since then, and having experienced how "sensitive" we martial artists can be, I would prefer to let these stories die out. All that can come of them is hard feelings. Sorry guys : ( Roy Harris

I wouldn't be surprised if a high caliber BJJ black belt like Roy would clean the mats against MMA fighters like Frank and Ken Shamrock - roll wise. I've seen John Danaher toy GSP around when they roll BJJ.
