If I pass the CPA exam in one state do I have to retake it when moving to another?

Depending on the state, you can file for reciprocity.

For Iowa to Illinois, no. They have reciprocity. However, if you are going to the coast or across the country, some states do not have the reciprocity, on a state by state basis.

BIG CHAD - For Iowa to Illinois, no. They have reciprocity. However, if you are going to the coast or across the country, some states do not have the reciprocity, on a state by state basis.

 Isn't that for license rather than just the exam?
