"I hope they figure out how to pick up the offence, as 2.5 goals/game isn't gonna beat the offensive powerhouses like the Russians and Americans. " Team Canada already beat the Russians when they came over and played 8 games. I think it was 8 games to 0 for Canada.

Canada is only ahead of Switzerland and the glorious nation of Kazakhstan in Goals for. This doesn't bode well for Canada. Seems they were overrated. Mark

They should have yanked Bernier after the second goal yesterday, IMO.

Correct, they both get byes. Canada plays Finland next. If they beat Finland, they will play the US.

Tough road for Canada, they've been less then impressive this year. They might make the bronze medal game imo but of course I'll be cheering for them to take home the gold again. Gagner, Perron, and Lucic sure would look nice out there and then maybe we'd have some offense.

Glad they announced Mason. He gives up a few rebounds but seems more consistent.

lucic is a lot of fun to watch play. seeing the beatings that he has been handing out on the nhl level makes you wonder what he'd do to a lot of these guys on the jr level

US hockey has been and still is one of the most overhyped systems out there. I'm not sure if the TSN boyz are told to push this angle but Canada/Russia hockey is where it is at. US should stick to Little League Baseball, Pop Warner Football, and "HORSE" Basketball. When it comes to real men's sports, hockey and rugby, Canada is the better team!!

nathan is correct. Canadians excel in sports that no one cares about, like Rugby and Ice Hockey.

And it gets worse for Mark1, with the Red Wings losing to the Sens.

"And it gets worse for Mark1, with the Red Wings losing to the Sens. " They have to lose at least a few times this year. It was starting to get embarrassing for the league and Bettman. Mark
