Stronghold, I suggest buying your Tongkat only from Newlife alternatives.com. Their stuff is imported from Indonesia. Most of the other stuff out there is loaded w/ industrial contaminents, pesticides, chemicals,, poisons, etc that will do more harm than good. As always, do your own research. Keep us posted bro !

I might as soon as what I have runs out. I do feel a little better since I've been on it about 2 weeks now.

I'm doing the Tongkat. I do feel a little more energetic but I'm not sleeping as well (stress at work, no doubt). My sex drive is unaffected but it's never gotten really low anyway.

It really doesn't sound like testosterone levels are your problem. Nor does it sound like increasing your test levels is helping.

High levels of stress can greatly tax the CNS, raising cortisol levels and messing with all kinds of hormones. It also tends to reduce "zest for life" and your sex drive. Try reducing your stress (if possible - maybe find a new job?), and work on improving your diet. Better nutrition enables the body to handle stress more effectively, raises natural levels of enkephalins and serotonin, and improves sleeping/healing. Exercise and sex are also very effective at increasing dopamine levels, further combating the effects of stress.

You might also consider getting relaxation massage now and then. Some of my clients have said they feel like different people now that they are getting regular work.

Good luck!

I'm at a new job and it is stressful. But, I am no longer bringing that home with me and my new boss is really laid back so I'm feeling better now. Hey, at least I'm lasting a lot longer with the wife! Low sex drive can have its benefits I guess and I think sexual performance is ultimately a matter of bloodflow (so reducing it can actually be more fun in the end).

ZMA, or if you are cheap like me, just take the Mag+Zinc combos available.

I just had a physical. The doctor said my testosterone was low. I'm 42 and have 95% of the symtoms of low testosterone.

He asked me to consider TRT(testosterone replacement therapy).

I'm thinking about it.

I'm against roids on principle but in small doses for a short cycle, they might do wonders for me. I'm not competing anymore so that's not an issue.

It seems to make a difference. I'm hoping it'll help keep me motivated. But, I'm also watching my diet more (no sugar if I can help it) and exercising more. I don't belive a pill alone can fix all of our problems.

Have you ever tried some sort of structured technique for relaxation and focus like some kind of meditation, yoga, deep breathing, autogenic treaining, body awareness-therapy etc.?

Not only does that stuff help to let go of every-day-life stress and demands, but a little while of quietness in the mind each day can also put you in touch with frustration, thoughts and feelings you didn't know you had. Maybe you need to change the way you live in some way to get the spark back. The techniques I mentioned can help you see what (if any) other factors might play a part in how you feel.

I'm doing that every night... I've found my breathing is shallow now because I'm tense so I make myself relax and take slow, deep breaths every time I think of it and every night before I go to sleep.

I think this is how stress gives us men heart attacks.

But, since I gave up MA for married/work/have-a-kid life, stress is harder to get rid of.
