Not trying to sound rude, but go to the website, it's much quicker than way than me trying to explain it.

Haven't tried the shock knives, but have tried just about everything else. I've grown accustomed to a aircraft aluminum small daggers. They typify what is found on the streets and the metal itself keeps the realism somewhat intact. My advise to you is to train with aluminum blades sans the gloves. The reason I say this is because, as was evident in the DB NatGeo show, people have a tendency to lose "respect" for the knife. Take away the gloves and both will be forced to "respect" the knife. In other words, you won't see both knife fighters slashing like crazy as if there wouldn't be any consequences for getting cut. Getting "cut" by a metal training blade in this way keeps the "respect" of the knife intact. The pain incurred from a metal blade will make you think twice about the risk to reward ratio.

Shocknife has just graciously provided us with two of their new and improved model. They wanted to provide us with their military model, which has more of a zap, but could not get it out of Canada-- some sort of customs issue. We will be putting the new model to the test in about 12 days and will report back here.

They sent me one. I introduced this last weak in my seminar. Some of the guys from Q town have played around with it. I like it has a place in your training.

I like the low setting on the SK-2. Although I'm thinking the roughness on my No Lie Blade should have the same low level effect as long as you're not wearing a shirt.
