As a Toronto resident, it's a little easier to get hyped for the Marlies - they actually win. Seriously, for all of you that love hockey but don't have regular access to NHL tickets, take a peak at the AHL. Great quality of play for a very reasonable ticket price.

No i don't follow it. But your points are correct. Who's tearing it up in the AHL this season?

Right now, Providence, Philly, Toronto and Chicago are all top of their divisions.

goeb, I'm actually just getting back into it myself as they only recently moved the Leafs farm team back to T.O. The AHL site has the current leaders up. I got half season tickets since the arena is pretty close to my house and it would help me keep a handle on some Leaf prospects. Good hockey and they let things go a little more than in the big league.

If I wanted to watch second rate hockey and slow untalented players I would watch a Leafs game.

Well extendo is a smart toronto fan 9 I live ther myself Extendo, so I know the marlies), he knows that the Leafs NHL team isn't worth the price. So he goes to see what basically Steamfitter said for a quarter of the price.

lol @ steamfitter. How many Korunas did you pay for your passport? Good chance Justin Pogge the Marlies goalie will get a start tomorrow for the Leafs.

"Good chance Justin Pogge the Marlies goalie will get a start tomorrow for the Leafs." I thought he was supposed to have 2 Veiznas and a Conn Smythe by now, according to WC17. LOL @ your AHL team being more exciting than the NHL team. Great job by Bettman and the Teacher's Union. Mark

It's funny, they put Pogge on the front cover of the Sun saying he was getting the start, but he didn't even lace up.

"I thought he was supposed to have 2 Veiznas and a Conn Smythe by now, according to WC17" I wonder if the infamous troll has hung himself yet, honestly, he's lucky he left the forum this season, he'd be getting it left, right, and center.

Jon "Nasty" Mirasty still playing with the Crunch? Was wondering if he's still fighting like he's in the Quebec senior league or if he's trying to play hockey. Good for him though, hope he does well, but I'm just to lazy to google it.

Going to see yet another Sutter tomorrow as the Marlies take on the Quad City Flames. What a hockey family.
