"Over ninety people voted in the poll" "Ron Paul supporters showed their dedication by coming out to vote in the middle of a snow storm,"

From the press release: "Over ninety people voted in the poll, which was held on Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Nevada Republican Assembly's Presidential Endorsing Convention." Wow! Over 90 people. What a prestigious victory that represents. So that is what? 36 or 37 Paul supporters showing up to a straw poll? But as if on queue...CNN still predicts he will finish in 6th place with 5% of the vote. Could it be those 91 people that participated in that poll do not represent a truly random sample of the voting demographics of the state? Could it be that Paul's more passionate supporters were more likely to show up for this non-event of only 90 or so voters, and so are disproportionately represented in the straw poll results? Could it be that a truly random sample of several hundred likely primary voters would give a better representation of his support than a non-scientific straw poll of only 91 non-random participants?

Ah, Jack beat me to it. I didn't even see the part about the snow storm. Now if only the entire state of Nevada could be hit by a blizzard on primary day.... then Paul might have a chance as all his survivalist nut supporters would be able to 4x4 their way to the primary station while everybody else was buried under snow...
