George Burley is in talks with Terry Butcher, former England captain with 77 caps, to be his assistant coach. What do folks this of this? I know some people on both sides of the border will have a problem with a former england captain coaching the Scottish national side but I couldn't really give a crap. Even though Butcher isn't a great manager he will bring lots of experience and enthusiasm to the set-up. Plus he's practically an adopted Scot these days anyway. Also, what is the opinion of George Burley as a manager? I think he'll do rather well, he was very good when he was at Hearts before their psycho chairman sacked him.

Butcher making all the right noises "I've always been scottish". Was good when his phone went off in the press conference though, playing Sweet Child O' Mine! Queue DOS
