Does anyone know if the rehab exercises performed pre- or post-operative for a SLAP tear are the same rehab exercises performed for rotator cuff tears? If not, can you describe some of the SLAP tear rehab exercises? Thanks.

Mine were - under the idea that the rotator cuff is one of the surrounding muscles that supports the joint and needs to be strong to help support the repair. So you have no weak links. So lots of internal and external rotation exercises as well as a variety of rowing type exercises.

There are four rotator cuff muscles. The specific exercises recommended may vary depending on the nature of the injury and which muscles/tissues are affected.
