I'm going to cut from 145 to 135 for March first, can I still lift and take my protein without gaining weight if I cut my calories down and getting a lot of excercise and cardio? Or should I stop lifting as well? Ten pounds doesn't seem like much in two weeks especially after a sauna run. I've sweated off 5 pounds in three hours on a dry run before. What you think?

I've done 14 lbs in 36 hours for a fight same day as weigh ins. I couldn't even spit and was seing stars, but 4 hours later I was fine. The only problem is I drank too much too quickly and though I was going to puke. You are smaller than me (I should be smaller than me but I'm not), but 10 lbs in a day doesn't seem impossible, especially if you fight the next day.

not a big deal. lift with cutting in mind (i.e. circuits).

cool. I miss eating. I pretty much stay at 140-145 depending on if i have a full stomach etc. I'm probably close to 137 right now i'm sick. And when my grappling gets back to how it used to be before the break I'll think about 135 to get some better competition.

there is plenty in any leightweight division
