He said TOP 10 Right Now. Look at what nabby has done for the Sharks this year (played the most games int he league among goalies, started all but one game, leads league in wins), and where they are in the standings...Luongo, good year, but struggling lately, i was thinking of putting him 10th, but Nabby has the edge I guess. Also to add insult to injury.... Luongo vs. SJ: 0-3 , 3.37 GAA, .896 SV% Nabby vs. Vancouver: 4-0, 1.51 GAA, .931 SV% Brodeur maybe i ranked high, but I guess I was thinking how shitty they'd be without him.

Lidstrom first ? I do not completely disagree, he's a general and Detroit wouldn't be there without him, but 1st...? Interesting

I almost feel like you're trolling us yl2.

1 defenseman and 1 goalie on the list?

Pronger, Markov, Cambell?

osgood, leclaire, miller?

Now for your forwards you've put a few linemates on the list, are they that good on their own or are they over producing because of who they're playing with?

I'm a football first and an east coast guy so i'm not posting my top 10 because of lack of knowledge of the west, but i felt the need to give it up for my D and Goalies

You're right on certain points B rock, but Miller ?? If i had to put more goalies there, i'd put Nabokov before him. As for Alfredson and Heatley they were producing the same when Heatley was in Atlanta. Hard to say for Lecavalier and St-Louis, and hey i'm not trolling, this is only my opinion.

"Lidstrom first ? I do not completely disagree, he's a general and Detroit wouldn't be there without him, but 1st...? Interesting" he's been the best player in the league for 3 years now, I just think there are a lot of stats that don't show how good defensemen are at times. Lidstrom (outside of his points and +/-), is one of those guys. Since the guy never gets injured, people don't know how bad detroit would be without him.

goeb I guess by your logic Luongo should be above Brodeur too then (Vancouver won 5-0 when they played, same as last year too) Top 10? In no particular order... Luongo Iginla Zetterberg Ovechkin Lecavalier Crosby Brodeur Alfredsson Thornton S. Neidermeyer (look at how much Anaheim improved when he returned, suddenly they all are playing better) and Lidstrom deserves mention without a doubt.

^I was thinking the exact same thing. M whole fantasy team was a jinx this season, so i'll apologize here. If your an avs fan, sorry for drafting sakic and Stastny, oh and recently picking up brett clark only to see him get injured a day later Detroit fans, sorry for Lidstrom and picking up cleary before he got injured. Canes fans, sorry for having Rod, Justin williams and Cullen Edmonton fans, I'm sorry for drafting souray (even though he sucks anyways). I can't really remember the rest of them, sorry.

put toews with crosby for most of the season, and then let's see how the points rack up. i didn't think it's just by stats but also what they bring to the team, otherwise i wouldn't rank lidstrom so high.

"put toews with crosby for most of the season, and then let's see how the points rack up." Lame argument considering Malkin has 24 points in the last 10 games without Crosby. Maybe I am misinterpreting what your point is.

naw, i think crosby would be a better linemate than kane, not that kane is aweful or anything. for me, if i was a gm, i would rather have toews than malkin on my team because i think he has more potential upside, give him just a few more seasons to really see him breakout. and i'm no hawks fan. i know malkin is having a bit of a streak but pittsburgh is top heavy compared to the hawks.

^ Lidstrom doesn't get respec,t people always have excuses for him not even being top 5 in the league, they are usually not legit.
