I prefer at least four paragraphs, but I can't really complain. http://www.newsday.com/news/local/nassau/ny-two5583313feb20,0,1523427.story Newsday.com HICKSVILLE: Victim's statement heard at sentencing LUIS PEREZ February 20, 2008 A Hicksville man who fled the scene of a two-car accident that seriously injured a West Babylon woman last year heard from his victim as he was sent to prison yesterday. Thomas Igoe, 43, said nothing as Assistant District Attorney Glenn Kurtzrock read a statement on behalf of Nicole Klein, 21. Klein said in the statement her life was forever altered after suffering multiple broken bones, a fractured pelvis and punctured lung. Igoe was convicted in December of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. Judge James F.X. Doyle sentenced him to 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison. The crash occurred July 23, 2007, in front of the Wingate Inn in Brentwood. -Shaz!
