Hey guys Im looking at some trades in standard yahoo scoring baseball league one is: I get lackey for Haren is that a deal I should make with the angels improved lineup? the second one is: Team A(not my team)is offering zimmerman,pence and hermeida for Orlando cabrera(Ihave rollins at ss already)francouer and one of thse pitchers haren CC or verlander I had offered chris young but he didnt want him. what do you guys think id really like feed back on these trades thanks

Haren > Lackey. Especially with his move to the NL. I wouldn't do the second deal. Ship Cabrera instead in a smaller deal.

yeah im getting a little gun shy on the second deal i think zambrano is too much to a head case that may cost me down the line

Zito was pitching like shit before he came to the NL. Most didn't pay attention to that. He came around at the end of last year once his "injuries" cleared up.

"People also thought Zito would have a huge year moving to the NL. And he was horrible." What people? I remember everybody saying his contract was a joke, but I don't remember anybody saying he would dominate after an AL-NL move. Either way, the list of pitchers who have gone from the AL to the NL and had success is much longer than the list of pitchers who made the move and did WORSE.
