Most of the regulars probably already know about this show but just in case someone is browsing- This is a Ring Rulers show at the Hot Springs Convention Center Feb 23rd 8pm but doors open at 7 and you might even want to be there earlier to make sure you get tickets. The last Ring Rulers show had excellent matchups / fights and a pretty full audience. Last month a kinds shady cage fighting event was held and it sold out and people were sent away so this will most likely sell out between those that saw the 1st one and those that got shut out of the shady cage fights. This is amateur but they have tried to put together some kind of 1 night lighter weight tournament which is fairly rare these days.

Kevin Sniff offered to fight on short notice but the opponent chickened out. Chickened out. Cowardice. No Budo. BullSHIDO. Yellow.

Was it the other guys first fight or something?thats a huge size advantage,or just heard about Kev and felt he wasn't up the challenge ?.Its bound to happen eventually some of the smaller schools with less technical guys will just pass rather than face the embarrassment.had you heard of the opponent, and why didn't anyone tell me about this yesterday at the tournament?

Well you could have just edited out the names but if you the redhead and the tall Cuban saw it you are really the only 2 I talk to much anyway. I didn't think there was too much negative there as much as silly in reference to the nameless older promoter and overweight kickboxer in a fake hype fight in the future. Can I even mention the pro fighters were there or that a trainer's figter was tough? Did the Republican front runners' campaign reform reach this far..lol. I think there were more people at this event than the last Ring Rulers but not as many as the shady cage event last month.

The shady thing was just alot more like watching Tuffman in a cage but they promoted alot and had many Malvern area fighters and fans. I asked but didn't hear how that even got past the athletic board- they would not let the fighters choke in the 1st round which would lead to increased concussions and brain damage if they ever get 2 hard headed guys in there without takedowns. The pre-mentioned heavier kickboxer did do a good job as a ref in the cage checking on the fighters but there are several lousy refs in the Hot Springs fights that let amateurs go too long for safety. That 1st one was just $10 but they figured out people would pay more to see some poor kids Fight Club so the cheapest seats are $15 now. I'd bet it sells out again.
