MDBJJC,

To answer your questions:

I. Here is a list of people I have trained with:

1. Punong Guro Tony Diego (Kalis Ilustrisimo).
2. Guro Romy Macapagal (Kalis Ilustrisimo).
3. Guro Thomas Dy Tang (Kalis Ilustrisimo).
4. Guro Dan Inosanto (Inosanto Blend of Kali).
5. Guro Larry Hartsell (Inosanto Blend of Kali).
6. Guro Rick Faye (Inosanto Blend of Kali).
7. Guro Paul Vunak (Inosanto Blend of Kali).
8. Guro Michaelangelo Buot (Balintawak Eskrima)

II. Here is a list of physical attributes in order of importance:

1. Awareness.
2. Timing.
3. Distancing.
4. Balance.
5. Footwork.
6. Precision

III. I own several knives:

1. Numerous un-categorized custom made blades; one, a bone handle and Keris shaped of Damascus blade, which was given to me by Sifu Paul Vunak in the late 1980's. It is one of my most cherished blades!
2. Two unregistered ceramic knives and one composite plastic/glass knife. These blades were made for the Spec Ops community pre 9/11 to carry aboard commercial airlines for personal protection.
3. Barry Dawson custom made neck carry spikes.
4. JSP Custom made Jashido, Spinal Back Up 3 rigging system.
5. 50% of the Cold Steel line up.
6. Various Italian made Stilettos.
7. SOG knives: Pentagon and Seal PUP.
8. Emerson knives: Sark-BT, Super Karambit BT and Commander BT.
9. Several Benchmade folding  and butterfly knives.
10. Various others knives.

Long story short, I've invested over $5000 into my collection. Some of these knives (especially #'s 2, 3 and 4), I've carried on my body when on assignment. Others have just been added to my collection of blades.

As you can tell, I am a blade guy. I am a blade guy before I'm a Jiu Jitsu guy ! )

What about Ray Floro? Any opinions on him. Where did you pick up a ceramic knife?

From what I know of Mr. Floro, he is a world class fencer with phenomenal timing and footwork. He is also a practitioner of Kalis Ilustrisimo! I picked up the ceramic knife from a military contact at a gun show many years ago. Roy Harris

Damn! You've spent way more than that Rolando? Mrs. 4 Ranges is a very special person to tolerate that kind of tomfoolery. LOL!!!
