I just started going to the local one (Columbia, SC) and am really enjoying it. Ug opinions, thoughts, and alternate suggestions?

not bad but i prefer mortons for several reasons inckuding team service and no butter on the steaks.

I prefer Mortons too, but I like RC for putting butter on their steaks.

BTW, props to torque for calling it Ruth's Chris and not Ruth Chris.

 I enjoyed the Ruth's Chris in Chicago once and have been wanting to go back for some time.


They did fish well (as opposed to overlooking it) and their side dishes were huge

More. There was a deal for 2 people to get dinner at Morton's for that price floating around. Not sure if it is still available. I think you are looking at nearly double that counting tip on a normal day.

 i think mortons is a little bit more pricey here in the nyc area but they have historically been pretty close.

I preferred Mortons over RC also. The one time I tried RC was in Pasadena. They served their steaks in a heated high edged plate. I was basically eating my steak in a vat of oil/butter. Not really my thing.
