I understand that there is going some fairly pronounced variance based upon the driving habits of the particular person, but on average, how long should a clutch last for? I spend 1k plus on a new clutch for my cadillac cts less then a year and half ago and now it appears that the clutch is shot once again.

Heavy car with a clutch will do that. Check with people who have similar power to weight ratios like guys with hemi engined chrysler 300s and such.

The Chrysler 300 hemis are all autos. Is it a CTS-V? You could probably put the C6Z06 clutch in it. A lot of the new GTO (Similar weight and same/similar engine) guys are doing that.
