Portraits by Brad Utterstrom
that Probert-McSorely bout is probably my favorite of all time as well. The Crowder-Probert bouts were significant, and huge at the time, but really don't compare. Crowder got Probie good the first time, but when they played later in the year they fought 2 more times with Crowder trying to jump Probie but getting the worst of it. The other one was a draw. Probie had a knack for getting revenge after getting beaten in a fight. Gary Nylund had a nasty, dirty fight with Probie in which Nylund was hitting Probert with the helmet, Probert was pulling hair, Nylund got the best of it. Next season,  Probert knocked him out with a wicked uppercut. Todd Ewen (as a rookie, I believe) KO'd Probert, Probert avenged that loss the very same game.

Probert had a pair of awesome wars with Craig Coxe too. Coxe was one of my faves, man that guy had good fights and tons of heart.

best KO of all time is probably Kocur on Jim Kyte, who was actually damn tough but suffered some of the worst beatdowns in history (another to Dave Brown)
