Picked up "Sick Puppy" and really enjoyed it. I am now almost finished with "Lucky You". Anyone else enjoy his books. I think it helps that I am from Florida.

Lucky You was good. I like Sick Puppy better though. I am now starting Basket Case.

Read a few of his books. But I kind of lost interest after awhile.

If you want funny along with some hair raising drama, read The Choirboys and/or The Black Marble by Joseph Wambaugh.

Choirboys had me rolling.

Tourist Season and Stormy Weather are the two best, IMO.

Good author but he got stuck on a formula and ran out of material.

You should also check out Chris Moore if you like the zany stuff. I would highly recommend Lamb.

Extendo, I agree. I read both of those, and then the others couldn't keep my attention.

I used to be a big fan. My favorites are Skin Tight and Double Whammy. I prefer Tim Dorsey now. Much funnier.

One of the best things about being deployed is all the books that get sent over here. Just picked up Double Whammy.Sitting there with it was Tim Dorsey's Hurricane Punch so I grabbed it as well. I also got a book from another Floridian author. Can't recall his name now but the book title is Gun Monkey. Looks promising, anyone familiar with it.

I found his books to be light, entertaining reads. Skinny Dip had me laughing at times.

They're ok.

I kind of wonder why he keeps making fun of rednecks.

And I don't think he's ever been to a strip-club from what he wrote in strip tease.

I've read all of the books, not including those done with another author. Sick Puppy was the first I read and I enjoyed it. I read Striptease next and laughed outloud through the whole thing. the characters are fantastic. I never realized the movie was based on the book til years later. Tourist Season was pretty good as well. I don't have any real complaints about any of them.
