If anybody with U.K law experience is available that would be good.

The following example is purely hypothetical:

People involved:

Former Team Leader
Person A

Scenario:

Person A is shopping and bumps in to a former team leader. They no longer work in the same company but they still work in the same building, just in different floors.

Person A publically insults the former team leader using a couple of profanities thrown in for good measure. Person A is told by a store worker to calm down and leave immediately. Person A walks away, pays for his items and exits the shop.

Person A works for an outsourcing company the former team leaders company is their customer.

What can the former team leader do? It is outside of work and he wasn't assaulted. Could he get person A in trouble at work? What are his rights?

Don't know UK law. If there were threats made, or there's a pattern of confrontations, there a few possibilities. However, sounds like there's a very, very slim chance of anything coming of it, as all you have are two guys argueing.

I would tell forum leader to harden the fuck up.
