GroundControl in Baltimore is probably your best bet for no-gi in the area.

www.planetmayhem.net is their website.

John is a great guy and a great instructor.

I am lucky to see this thread.

Wife and I are moving in the area when Ft. Monmouth closes (papers say about Sep 2011). Looking for MT gym since there are no Kyokushin dojos I know about in the area. Can't do any grappling (judo/jj/wrestling) due to injury.

Would it be a problem if I just take the MT classes? How far is Aberdeen from Baltimore? Any places in Baltimore for MT or any Kyokushin off-shoots (Enshin/Ashihara/Seidokai, etc.)?

Aberdeen is around 30-40 minutes from Baltimore

are you moving to Aberdeen area or Baltimore area?

there are a few schools in and around Baltimore but the school I train at is in Aberdeen

www.topflightmma.com

we have MT classes 6 days a week

if you are in the Baltimore area I suggest the Baltimore Lloyd Irvin affiliate www.88bjj.com

dson, Hollywood- Thanks for the links! Definitely helped a lot and will check it out.

We will probably look between Aberdeen and Baltimore. If Ft. Monmouth (NJ) closes, she will be transferred to APG. Not sure what the job situation will look for me but Baltimore is point B on our plans.

Saw a Kyokushin offshoot (Seido) in Towson, Howard Cty and Catonsville. Not sure where these are though.
