Was it my imagination or was he trying to make it a fight? He seemed to have more to uncork.

I dont think you are giving Bocek enough credit. The kid is tough as hell and very technical. Tough fight for anyone, though Mac dominated every aspect after the first round.

I thought that as well. i was worried about him l,osing the fight coming into it but there were times he seemed to be holding back. He had Bocek hurt and pulled a few punches. It was like he was feeling bad for hurting him. Thought it was just my imagination as well but the thought did cross my mind.

He totally held back because he wanted the choke. Could have easily GnP a stoppage a couple times but didn't want to. Flattened for the choke a couple times, but Bocek was too game and didn't give it up until the end.

seemed to me like mac was just playing a smart game not gassing himself. i doubt he was holding back anything other than that.

Mac showed that he's one of the most well rounded guys out there.

Bocek is a world class grappler (not just BJJ...he has very good wrestling too).

Mac is amazing. He's no Keith Sutton, but he's pretty damn close!

it was his first fight at 155, maybe the weight cut or just the nerves of switching divisions. but bocek seemed pretty tuff i mean he took some big shots and kept coming. so imo it was all of that. the change in divisions and bocek being a real tuff fighter.

This was a good fight.  I thought that Bocek had a great chance prior to this one.  Mac was impressive submitting Bocek.

It was not his first fight at 155 he has been fighting at 155 the last 2 or 3 years, he fought smart IMO he controlled the fight did good damage and waited for his oppurtunity to finish and he did.

azbadboy you're a complete idiot.peace

<br>Mac, once again, was all business. Didn't even seem to be breathing hard until he got the win. 100% most underrated fighter in any weight class.
